International Agricultural Research and Training Center has been holding   course on ‘Agricultural Mechanization and Information Technologies’  between 13-17 May 2013 with the attending of 20 participants from  Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Bulgaria. The main topics of the course will be as below:

4th International Course on Sustainable Management of Soil and Water Resources

The course on ‘Sustainable Management of Soil and Water Resources’ will be held in International Agricultural Research and Training Center between 24 June-5 July 2013 in Izmir, Turkey. The Leaflet and the Application Form could be found in the attachment.

The deadline to send the Application Form is 17 May 2013.

The main topics of the course will be as below:

Water Management: Evaluation of irrigation methods, wastewater reuse in agriculture, water harvesting and practices, water use efficiency, irrigation applications under deficite irrigation, fertigation, drought management, climate change scenarios.

Soil Management: Soil fertility and fertilization, soil classification, inventory and mapping, controlling and estimation of soil salinity in irrigated lands, manure management, the benefits of conservation tillage and its application in the world.

An Regional Workshop on Brucellosis Control in Central Asia and Eastern Europe

An Regional Workshop on Brucellosis Control in Central Asia and Eastern Europe was held in our center (IARTC), on 09th -11th April 2013. Participants from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Albania,  Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia and representatives from FAO Subregional Office for Central Asia (SEC), FAO Regional Office for Europe and Central Asia (REU), World Health Organization (WHO), The World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) attended the workshop.

The course on ‘Agricultural Mechanization and Information Technologies’ will be held in International Agricultural Research and Training Center between 13-17 May 2013 in Izmir, Turkey. The Leaflet and the Application Form could be found in the attachment.
